NFL Week 5 Predictions

Arizona Cardinals logo NFL St. Louis Rams logo NFL Arizona at St. Louis (+1.5, O/U 38.5)
The Cardinals are 4-0, but the Rams are nearly as surprising as Arizona. Jeff Fisher has improved the Rams defense, as proven by their 8th best scoring defense in the league. The Cardinals will fall flat in St. Louis as the Rams defense steps up to stifle the Cardinals.
St. Louis 16-10
Spread: St. Louis (500)
O/U: Under (300)

Miami Dolphins logo NFL Cincinnati Bengals logo NFL Miami at Cincinnati (-4.5, O/U 45)
The Dolphins nearly pulled the upset in Arizona last week, so I expect Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins to carry a little bit of momentum into Cincinnati, at least enough to hang around into the fourth quarter.
Cincinnati 23-17
Spread: Cincinnati (500)
O/U: Under (200)

Green Bay Packers logo NFL Indianapolis Colts logo NFL Green Bay at Indianapolis (+7.5, O/U 48)
How about an upset pick in Indianapolis. Green Bay will certainly score a hefty amount of points today, but I believe Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis rekindle the past and harass Aaron Rodgers enough to give Andrew Luck and the Colts a chance to win it late. The Colts win one for Chuck Pagano on an Adam Vinatieri field goal late in the fourth.
Indianapolis 35-34
Spread: Indianapolis (200)
O/U: Over (500)

Baltimore Ravens logo Kansas City Chiefs logo NFL Baltimore at Kansas City (+4.5, O/U 46.5)
It's not because I don't think the Ravens are supremely talented, but I predict the Chiefs to win every single week because I still love their defense and have just enough fate in Matt Cassel to not lose the game for K.C. I'm going to take the Chiefs because I hope they wouldn't start 0-3 at Arrowhead Stadium this year.
Kansas City 27-23
Spread: Kansas City (200)
O/U: Over (100)

Cleveland Browns logo New York Giants logo NFL Cleveland at New York (-9.5, O/U 43.5)
Lot's of injuries for the Giants this week and the Browns are desperate for a win in theory. I don't think the Giants will lose, but I think everyone should know the Giants well enough that they tend to slip up in trap games like this. Cleveland will hang around, but the Giants will pull through.
New York 24-17
Spread: Cleveland (200)
O/U: Under (200)

Philadelphia Eagles logo NFL Pittsburgh Steelers logo NFL Philadelphia at Pittsburgh (-3.5, O/U 43)
The Steelers tend to win coming off bye weeks and in an instate rivalry like this, I see the Steelers defense frustrating Michael Vick and the Eagles for most of the afternoon. Ben Roethlisberger continues his stellar season in a win over Philly.
Pittsburgh 21-13
Spread: Pittsburgh (500)
O/U: Under (200)

Atlanta Falcons logo NFL Washington Redskins logo NFL Atlanta at Washington (+3.5, O/U 51)
The Washington Redskins have lost seven consecutive games at home dating back to last year. The 'Skins are 2-2 and a win over Atlanta would be a big stepping stone. With a little bit of rain in D.C. today, I don't expect the Falcons passing attack to be as potent, allowing Robert Griffin and the Redskins to take advantage and get the win.
Washington 27-20
Spread: Washington (700)
O/U: Under (500)

Seattle Seahawks logo NFL Carolina Panthers logo NFL Seattle at Carolina (-3.5, O/U 42)
Remember the kind of pressure Seattle dialed up against Green Bay a couple weeks ago? Well, the Seahawks will do that once again today against a Carolina team in disarray. Russell Wilson does just enough to hang onto his starting job for another week as the 'Hawks defeat the Panthers.
Seattle 22-17
Spread: Seattle (500)
O/U: Under (400)

Chicago Bears logo NFL Jacksonville Jaguars logo NFL Chicago at Jacksonville (+5.5, O/U 40.5)
The Bears looked phenomenal on Monday Night against the Cowboys. I consider the Bears one of the best teams in the NFC and if they believe they are a Super Bowl contender, they need to take care of business in Jacksonville. If Chicago could force Tony Romo into five interceptions, I expect at the very least that Blaine Gabbert would have little success.
Chicago 24-12
Spread: Chicago (800)
O/U: Under (200)

Tennessee Titans logo NFL Minnesota Vikings logo NFL Tennessee at Minnesota (-5.5, O/U 44)
The biggest surprise in the NFL this season has been the Minnesota Vikings. Looking to move to 4-1, the Vikings take on a Titans team with a porous defense and an offense that is very inconsistent. I like Minnesota in this one with relative ease.
Minnesota 27-17
Spread: Minnesota (600)
O/U: Over (200)

Denver Broncos logo NFL New England Patriots logo NFL Denver at New England (-6.5, O/U 52)
What a matchup in Foxboro today. This may be the last time we saw a Brady/Manning duel, so enjoy it. As for the game today, the Patriots offense has proven they can succeed against Denver's defense. The key in today's matchup will be whether the New England pass defense steps up. We'll see what affect the weather has on today's game, but I will still take the Patriots in a tight game.
New England 31-27
Spread: Denver (300)
O/U: Over (200)

Buffalo Bills logo NFL San Francisco 49ers logo NFL Buffalo at San Francisco (-9.5, O/U 45)
Will the Buffalo defense bounce back against San Francisco. Well, they won't allow 52 points, but they won't necessarily take a step forward either. Buffalo will not fare well going cross country to take on the 49ers.
San Francisco 27-14
Spread: San Francisco (800)
O/U: Under (200)

San Diego Chargers logo NFL New Orleans Saints logo NFL San Diego at New Orleans (-3.5, O/U 52)
I would hope that New Orleans would avoid a 0-3 start at home in a venue they have played so well in the past few seasons. New Orleans wins it.
New Orleans 39-31
Spread: New Orleans (1000)
O/U: Over (500)

Houston Texans logo NFL New York Jets logo NFL Houston at New York (+7.5, O/U 41)
The Jets are in utter disarray. Texans win easily.
Houston 38-10
Spread: Houston (1000)
O/U: Over (200)

Total Spent: 11,700
